Customer Banking Specialist - Tamworth

About the role

The Retail Banking Services (RBS) team at CommBank serves more than 10 million personal and small business customers across Australia. As the Customer Banking Specialist at the Tamworth branch, you will be the public face of the bank and the first point of contact for customers. This is a part-time opportunity of 15 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday, 11:15am to 4:15pm. Rosters are predetermined, so availability must match the listed schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Greet each customer and clearly understand their enquiry, guiding them to the appropriate channel
• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversation to enhance their experience
• Offer options by educating and demonstrating in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Stay aware of movements within the branch so it runs effectively and efficiently and customers are satisfied

Required profile

• A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, approachable demeanour
• Ability to manage customer expectations
• Genuine interest in building a career with CommBank and improving customers' financial wellbeing
