Customer Banking Specialist - Karratha (Part-Time)

About the role

The Retail Bank is looking for a Customer Banking Specialist to join its Karratha branch on a part-time basis of 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:15am to 4:15pm. Rosters are predetermined, so candidates should check availability before applying. The role works closely with the Branch Manager and colleagues to deliver a good experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations.
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Respond to customers' transactional needs in the branch so they leave satisfied.
• Interview customers and process applications for personal loans, credit cards and associated products.
• Follow bank processes, including accurate transaction reconciliation and review of customers' financial positions.
• Take part in community events and fundraising activities.
• Look after the safety and wellbeing of the team.
• Use tools to capture customer feedback and act on service gaps.

• Ability to ask the right questions, act with integrity and put the customer first.
• Passion for service excellence, able to work independently and refer customers to other specialists when needed.
• Able to work in a busy, commercial retail environment while delivering holistic solutions.
