Customer Banking Specialist - Donald

About the role

The Customer Banking Specialist is the public face of CommBank's Retail Banking Services (RBS) team, which serves more than 10 million personal and small business customers. The role involves frequent travel across branches in the area, with the expectation of working from a different branch each day depending on operational needs. Rosters are predetermined.

Key responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with every customer about how to support their overall banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.
• Support customers with enquiries, account maintenance and applications for credit products.
• Offer customers options by educating and demonstrating in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Problem solve and provide effective solutions while upholding processes, procedures and a risk-adverse culture.

Required profile

• Proven customer service experience, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial terms clearly.
• Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, act with integrity and put the customer at the centre of everything.
• Ability to work in a busy, commercial and driven retail environment while giving customers holistic solutions.
