Crusher Mechanical Fitter - FIFO 2:1 Roster

About the role

Pearl Recruitment is seeking experienced Crusher Mechanical Fitters for long-term permanent full-time positions in an established mining operation. The work covers servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of crushing, screening and material handling equipment, within a team of experienced maintenance staff. The roster is a 2:1 FIFO pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of crushing, screening and material handling equipment
• Work as part of an experienced maintenance team to keep equipment safe, reliable and efficient while minimising downtime
• Work on equipment such as Terex Finlay 1480 Jaw Crushers, Terex Finlay 1550 Cone Crushers, Warrior 2400 Screens, stackers and other associated crushing and screening equipment

Required profile

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
• At least 2 years of post-trade experience in Australia
• Previous experience on crushing and screening equipment; experience with Terex Finlay jaw and cone crushers and Warrior 2400 screens is highly desirable
• Previous mining or quarrying experience
• Current and valid Australian driver's licence
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening, and to work a 2:1 FIFO roster
• Willingness to provide a National Police Clearance

Required skills

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding capability
• Maintenance of crushing and screening equipment

What we offer

• Pay of $57.39 to $68.42 per hour plus a $5.00 per hour site bonus
• Superannuation on all hours worked (pending experience)
• Permanent full-time position with a 2:1 FIFO roster
