Credit Risk Analyst – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Credit Risk Analyst to join our team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract based at our Parramatta office. Working closely with Finance and Sales, you will support the management of customer accounts, commercial trade credit assessments and collections across a diverse B2B portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Assess new and existing commercial trade credit applications, reviewing financial statements, credit bureau reports, trade references and payment performance.
• Monitor customer credit limits, account performance and payment trends, balancing commercial opportunities with appropriate risk controls.
• Identify emerging risks, escalate issues and maintain accurate customer records and credit documentation.
• Manage collections and payment follow‑up for an assigned portfolio, negotiate outcomes and maintain strong relationships.
• Monitor payment deterioration, handle disputes and credit claims, and ensure orders align with approved credit limits.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
