Corporate Account Manager

About the role

Knightcorp, a specialist business insurance brokerage, is looking for an Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients. You will deliver trusted insurance advice, handle renewals end to end and build strong relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters. The role suits someone who enjoys ownership, relationship building and high-quality client outcomes in a fast-paced, modern insurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day servicing of a portfolio of medium to large corporate clients, ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes
• Lead renewals from planning through to execution, including timelines, documentation, insurer engagement and coverage review
• Provide clear advice on coverage, premiums, endorsements and risk trade-offs
• Identify client needs, risk exposures and opportunities to improve insurance outcomes
• Prepare accurate, timely and defensible documentation, advice and renewal materials
• Build relationships with clients, insurers and underwriters to support long-term retention
• Identify organic growth, upsell and new business opportunities while maintaining client trust
• Maintain system discipline, compliance standards and audit-ready records

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in insurance broking, ideally managing your own portfolio in a client-facing corporate role
• Strong understanding of corporate insurance servicing, insurance markets, client industries and risk
• Experience managing renewals, client relationships and complex servicing with a high level of accountability
• Tier 1 qualification

Required skills

• Confidence using broking systems such as Winbeat and OfficeTech, and Microsoft Office tools
• Commercial instinct, strong judgement and attention to detail
• Organisation, ownership and a collaborative mindset
