About the role
Damon Australia Pty. Ltd., a specialist manufacturer of conveyors and conveyor rollers, is looking for a technician with conveyor expertise to join its team at the Craigieburn manufacturing plant.
Key responsibilities
- Manufacture conveyor components
- Carry out final assembly of conveyors and associated equipment
- Install and commission conveyors and equipment on site at the client's premises
- Perform repairs and maintenance of the equipment
Required profile
- Proven ability to assemble, install and service conveyors, including belt and roller conveyors and diverters
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to resolve mechanical assembly issues
- Ability to read manufacturing and assembly drawings
- Good eye for detail and aptitude for quality control, accurate measuring
- Safety conscious, neat and tidy personal presentation, mature and responsible attitude
- Current driver's licence
