Contracts Administrator - Water Infrastructure Projects

About the role

SRG Global is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join its Utilities team supporting the McConnell Dowell SRG Global Utilities Joint Venture (MCD-SRG JV) in Adelaide. The role supports the commercial delivery of several civil construction projects within one of South Australia's largest water infrastructure programs, working closely with an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator and the wider project team. It is primarily an office-based position with regular site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of head contracts, subcontracts and purchase orders, and prepare subcontract agreements and contractual correspondence.
• Track variations, claims and extensions of time under the guidance of senior team members.
• Prepare monthly client claims and other reporting, and process monthly subcontractor claims.
• Assist with procurement, including RFQs, subcontractor onboarding and supplier engagement.
• Maintain contract registers and keep project documentation accurate and up to date.
• Process supplier invoices, support invoice matching, cost coding and monthly accruals, and liaise with subcontractors and stakeholders on commercial queries.
• Work with project engineers, the commercial team and site personnel to support project delivery.

Required profile

• 2-3 years' experience in a Contracts Administrator or similar commercial support role.
• Civil construction, utilities or infrastructure experience; exposure to water projects highly desirable.
• Exposure to subcontract administration, procurement and commercial project support.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with Workbench or similar software is highly regarded.
