Contracts Administrator – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

ACCIONA is launching a major rail infrastructure project between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The Contracts Administrator will oversee cost administration and contract compliance, ensuring accurate tracking of variations and strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Administer sub‑contracts throughout all project phases, from scope preparation to close‑out.
• Maintain accurate records of contract correspondence, variations, and claims.
• Prepare and submit progress claims and invoices in line with contract terms.
• Assist in resolving contractual disputes and claims.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce compliance with contract conditions.
• Maintain a contract register and schedule of deliverables.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field or substantial experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in contracts administration, preferably within construction or infrastructure.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with subcontractors and the ability to negotiate win‑win outcomes.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
