Contract Site Manager

About the role

You will lead the finishing stages of a $60 million school project in the Northern Sydney area, ensuring high‑quality outcomes and strict programme adherence. Reporting to the Project Manager, this hands‑on role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to drive results through the final delivery phase.

Key responsibilities

• Manage finishing works across basketball courts, bathrooms, lecture rooms and façade elements.
• Coordinate subcontractors to meet critical programme milestones.
• Mentor a Supervisor and a team of Engineers, fostering a collaborative site environment.
• Maintain strict compliance with site safety and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues to keep project momentum.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on projects valued at $50 million or more.
• Strong track record delivering projects through the finishing stages.
• Experience in education or similarly complex builds.
• Ability to lead and manage site teams effectively.
• Relevant construction qualifications and a valid White Card.
