Contract Occupational Therapist (Tamworth)

About the role

Benchmark Rehabilitation, part of the MedHealth family, is looking for experienced Occupational Therapists to provide contract assessment and rehabilitation services across several NSW locations. You will work with clients in the CTP and Life Insurance sectors around Tamworth and Armidale, providing assessment, rehabilitation and case management services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments such as initial needs and ADL workplace assessments
• Plan rehabilitation and return-to-function
• Provide case management and liaise with stakeholders
• Set goals and deliver outcome-focused interventions
• Write reports and recommendations supporting recovery outcomes
• Support CTP clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents and Life Insurance clients facing physical and psychological health challenges

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 5 years of occupational therapy experience
• Occupational rehabilitation experience, ideally in CTP, Life Insurance or personal injury
• Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
• Current Working With Children Check (where required) and police check
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance, or ability to obtain it before starting

• Strong assessment, case management and report writing skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
