Contract Occupational Therapist (CTP and Life Insurance)

About the role

Benchmark Rehabilitation, part of the MedHealth family, is looking for experienced Occupational Therapists to provide contract assessment and rehabilitation services across several NSW locations. You will work with clients in the CTP and Life Insurance sectors around Lismore, Coffs Harbour and the surrounds, providing assessment, rehabilitation and case management outside the workers' compensation framework.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments such as initial needs and ADL workplace assessments
• Plan rehabilitation and return-to-function
• Provide case management and liaise with stakeholders
• Set goals and deliver outcome-focused interventions
• Write reports and recommendations supporting recovery outcomes

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 5 years' occupational therapy experience
• Occupational rehabilitation experience, ideally in CTP, Life Insurance or personal injury
• Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle
• Current Working With Children Check (where required) and current police check
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance, or the ability to obtain it before starting
