Senior Pharmacist, Hospital Avoidance Services

About the role

Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) is recruiting an experienced Senior Pharmacist (Pharmacist Grade 3) to lead its Hospital Avoidance Services across the district. The role works across HITH and Aged Care Outreach services, giving strategic leadership and expert pharmacy advice to support innovative care models, safe medication management and better patient outcomes closer to home. It is a temporary part-time position of 86 weeks at 16 hours per week, with remuneration of $142,587.86 to $146,446.46 per annum pro rata; the exact location is negotiable within the NNSWLHD area.

Required profile

• Experienced Senior Pharmacist
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or ability to live and work in Australia independently and legally
• Category A position: evidence of vaccination is required under the NSW Health occupational assessment policy
• May be subject to a six-month probationary period
