Continuous Improvement Lead

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive ICT performance and governance across its Melbourne operations. This newly created position offers the chance to shape improvement initiatives, strengthen internal controls, and support change management within the ICT function.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the assessment, documentation, and remediation of internal control gaps, maintaining a robust ICT controls framework.
• Analyse data, benchmark performance and prioritize process optimisation opportunities across ICT.
• Manage the end‑to‑end internal audit program, including planning, execution, documentation of findings and coordination with external auditors.
• Redesign ICT processes to improve quality and efficiency, producing high‑quality documentation such as process maps, RACI matrices and SOPs.
• Support change management activities by assessing impacts, developing change plans and engaging stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in compliance, audit and process improvement, preferably with experience in professional services or a Big‑4 environment.
• Proven ability to lead change initiatives and engage cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with internal control frameworks and gap‑assessment methodologies.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement practices and data‑driven analysis.
