Content Marketing Officer

About the role

VisitCanberra, the ACT’s destination marketing organisation, is looking for a Content Marketing Officer to join its marketing team. You will create and publish high‑quality written, photographic and video content across owned and partner channels while supporting the broader marketing function.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, edit and publish written, photographic and video content for VisitCanberra’s digital platforms and partner outlets.
• Manage the Content Library, ensuring assets are organised and up‑to‑date.
• Provide administrative support, including coordination of finance processes and team logistics.
• Assist with planning and execution of photoshoots, videography sessions and publication production.
• Develop content briefs, write copy for international media and support content partnership initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in marketing, public relations, communications or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of the tourism industry is desirable.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.

Required skills

• Strong written communication and storytelling abilities.
• Experience with photography and video production processes.
• Proficiency in managing digital content libraries.
