Content Creator – Digital & Social Media

About the role

We are looking for a creative Content Creator to drive Woolworths Group’s digital presence across social platforms. Working within the Greenhouse Collective, you will blend hands‑on video production with strategic social thinking to engage audiences for our retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Film, edit and produce short‑form videos (Reels, TikTok, Stories) using Premiere Pro, CapCut and Photoshop.
• Act both behind the camera (directing talent/crew) and in front of it when required.
• Generate platform‑first concepts and write brand‑aligned captions, scripts and on‑screen copy.
• Monitor digital culture, viral trends and platform algorithms to create high‑performing content.
• Track native analytics, translate insights into creative improvements and report to stakeholders.
• Present creative rationale and “sell‑in” social concepts to senior leadership and marketing partners.
• Maintain and adapt social calendars for real‑time cultural moments and business needs.
• Experiment with emerging technologies, new platforms and AI tools to enhance content creation.

Required profile

• Proven ability to produce engaging short‑form video content for social media.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms and audience behaviour.
• Comfortable presenting on‑camera and directing talent or crew.
• Excellent written communication for captions, scripts and copy.
• Data‑driven mindset with experience analysing social performance metrics.
• Collaborative approach to work with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
