Consumer Finance Senior Analyst

About the role

The Consumer Finance Senior Analyst will report directly to the Senior Consumer Finance Manager and act as a key finance partner to Marketing, Innovation, Revenue Growth Management and other commercial stakeholders across Oceania. The role provides high‑quality financial analysis, reporting and operational support for brand performance, investment and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Update NPD profit & loss statements, trackers and financial models; reconcile inputs and variances across innovation projects.
• Manage monthly brand investment forecasting, Salesforce loads, V2V submissions and month‑end close; maintain accurate BI, coding and forecasting across Salesforce, SAP and WBS structures.
• Prepare recurring portfolio review and brand P&L reporting, analyse trends and draft commentary on variances, risks and opportunities.
• Support annual and long‑term planning, maintain templates and models for budget, strategic and joint business planning processes.
• Partner with licensed teams across brand, shopper, commercial finance and category functions; develop financial capability workshops and maintain shared resources.
• Update and maintain consumer finance templates, test workflow changes and ensure governance and documentation consistency.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and decision support for priority requests and assist the senior manager on business matters.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline.
• Experience in finance, commercial analysis, FP&A or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet recurring deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and confidence working across functions.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with interest in improving processes.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Experience with Salesforce and SAP systems.
• Business Intelligence (BI) setup and reporting.
