Construction Supervisor - Commercial Projects

About the role

A full-time Construction Supervisor position based in Keswick, Adelaide, overseeing multiple commercial construction projects. The role goes beyond site supervision: you will take ownership of projects, build client relationships, contribute to project planning and estimating, and develop your leadership skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage multiple commercial construction projects from coordination through to final completion.
• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors and day-to-day site activities.
• Build productive relationships with clients, consultants, architects and other stakeholders.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges with practical solutions.
• Contribute to estimating, project planning and delivery strategies.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing construction projects, especially commercial construction.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects, subcontractors and site activities.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on trade background such as carpentry, or extensive on-site construction experience.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Valid South Australian driver's licence and a Construction White Card.

Required skills

• Construction project management experience.
• Relevant construction trade qualification (highly regarded).
• Bachelor of Construction or a related qualification (highly regarded).
• Estimating experience or a genuine interest in developing it.
