Construction Manager / Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager or Superintendent to lead the on‑site execution of a plant and camp upgrade project in the Goldfields of Western Australia. This senior, hands‑on role will drive safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery from mobilisation through commissioning handover.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall on‑site construction leadership, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams covering civil, structural, mechanical, piping and electrical/instrumentation trades.
• Oversee day‑to‑day site execution, including work‑front planning, resourcing and productivity management.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site safety systems, statutory requirements and company HSE standards.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify and resolve delays proactively.
• Control project costs, track budget variations and provide forecasting.
• Liaise with client representatives, engineering teams and subcontractors to maintain clear communication.
• Chair site meetings, toolbox talks and progress reviews.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with specifications and relevant standards.
• Support commissioning readiness and handover activities.

Required profile

• Proven construction management or superintendent experience on mineral processing or mining infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary trades and subcontractor teams on remote sites.
• Strong knowledge of WA mining safety legislation and site‑based HSE systems.
• Experience with project schedules, budgets and cost reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant trade or engineering background is highly regarded.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to pass pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.
