Construction Manager – Mining Project

About the role

PARC Engineering is seeking a motivated Construction Manager to lead a high‑impact brownfield project in Kalgoorlie’s goldfields. You will drive the project through punch listing, defect rectification, modifications and final handover while working closely with project, commissioning and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all construction activities for punch listing, brownfield modifications and project close‑out.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Structural, Piping (SMP), Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) and Civil works.
• Develop daily and weekly execution plans aligned with project priorities.
• Manage site supervisors, subcontractors and crews to ensure safe, productive work.
• Oversee shutdown/outage construction, defect rectification, quality assurance and compliance with Australian Standards.

Required profile

• Trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, Boilermaker, Pipefitter) or tertiary degree in Engineering/Construction Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ construction management experience in mining, mineral processing or heavy industry.
• Construction Induction White Card and current Australian driver’s licence.
• Proven experience delivering brownfield projects and managing multidisciplinary SMP and E&I teams.

Required skills

• Mechanical, Electrical and Piping construction expertise.
• Knowledge of LOTO, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA).
• Strong understanding of commissioning, completions and project handover processes.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards, WHS legislation and quality management systems.
