Construction Manager – Mining & Mineral Processing Projects

About the role

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary construction teams on large‑scale mining and mineral processing projects in Western Australia. You will own the full project lifecycle, from mobilisation through commissioning and handover, while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce strict HSE protocols and ensure all personnel receive appropriate training.
• Lead a diverse team of supervisors, engineers, and tradespeople, fostering a positive and productive work culture.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate effectively with client representatives.
• Manage project budget, schedule, and overall delivery to meet contractual commitments.
• Oversee all on‑site construction activities, from start‑up to commissioning and handover.
• Review site plans to ensure alignment with project objectives and specifications.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to secure successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with GRES, client policies, industry standards, and safe work procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction or project management, preferably on EPC‑style projects.
• Proven track record delivering large, complex construction projects in the mining or mineral processing sector.
• Willingness to work a 2x1 FIFO roster based out of Perth (other states considered).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
