Construction Manager – Luxury Residential Site

About the role

CGC Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established residential builder to find an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a $5.5 million architecturally designed home on the Northern Beaches. The role involves full ownership of the site from commencement through to handover, ensuring safety, schedule adherence and premium quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all day‑to‑day site operations and drive project programmes.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and trades, including material deliveries and site logistics.
• Work on the tools as required, assisting with carpentry and construction activities.
• Ensure works comply with plans, specifications, building standards and Australian building codes.
• Conduct quality‑control inspections throughout all construction stages.
• Maintain site safety and WHS compliance, including White Card requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain site documentation, records and progress reporting, and proactively resolve construction issues.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Carpentry or a related building trade.
• Proven experience managing high‑end residential construction projects.
• Strong understanding of premium residential building methods, finishes and Australian building codes.
• Ability to lead from the front with a hands‑on approach.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• White Card and, preferably, a Builder’s Licence or Site Supervisor experience.
