Construction Manager – Fixed Term (until Jan 2028)

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead the delivery of new stores, relocations, expansions and renovations for lululemon across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Store Development team, you will turn strategic store concepts into operational retail spaces, ensuring they open on time, on budget and to the brand’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from due‑diligence and planning through handover and store opening.
• Collaborate with regional and local teams, design partners, landlords, consultants, contractors and government authorities.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects, maintaining accountability for budget, schedule, quality, safety and compliance.
• Own the procurement process, including tendering, contractor selection, onboarding and ongoing vendor relationship management.
• Facilitate project meetings, participate in design reviews, coordinate construction documentation and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.
• Identify risks early, remove roadblocks and develop practical solutions that balance design intent, budget, timeline and operational needs.
• Build strong internal and external partnerships to support the brand’s growth across the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end construction projects in a retail or commercial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously while controlling cost, schedule and quality.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working with design teams, contractors and government bodies.
• Experience in procurement, tendering and vendor management.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation.
