Construction Manager – Build & Lead Prefab Housing Division

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to establish and lead a new prefabricated housing division within a well‑capitalised property group that is expanding rapidly in the residential sector. Reporting to the executive team, you will shape operational frameworks, build supplier networks and deliver high‑quality housing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a new construction division from the ground up.
• Manage delivery of prefabricated housing projects across residential developments.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
• Develop operational processes, systems and reporting structures.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets and quality outcomes.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a growing construction team.
• Collaborate with developers, landowners and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to strategic planning and future growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in residential construction, volume housing, modular or prefabricated building.
• Strong networks with suppliers and subcontractors in the residential sector.
• Proven leadership experience building and managing teams.
• Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, margins and delivery outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Solutions‑focused, entrepreneurial mindset.
