Connections Officer - Customer Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Connections Officer to join SA Power Networks’ Customer Solutions team in South Australia. In this role you will coordinate new connections, alterations, isolations and related services, ensuring projects meet customer expectations and network standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of connection projects, including new connections, alterations, isolations and abolishments.
• Process and support ancillary services such as Access Permits, Tiger Tails and MEG connections.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors and internal stakeholders to scope, schedule and deliver projects on time.
• Maintain compliance with SA Power Networks’ technical and safety standards.
• Provide reporting to the Customer Solutions Manager and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Electrical Trade Certificate.
• At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role within electricity distribution, utilities or a related technical environment.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to juggle competing priorities and see projects through to completion.
• Class C driver’s licence (desirable).
