Concrete Truck Driver / Relief Batcher

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is looking for a self-motivated team player for its Margaret River Concrete plant. The Driver/Batcher role offers career development in concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, batching, scheduling and logistics within the construction industry. It is full-time, Monday to Friday with some Saturday work as required, with overtime and penalties provided.

Key responsibilities

• Batch agitator trucks safely and efficiently
• Deliver concrete in an agitator
• Load aggregate bins
• Carry out housekeeping and yard duties
• Communicate regularly with customers
• Place orders for customers and internal stakeholders
• Operate a front-end loader

Required profile

• HR licence or above
• Front-end loader ticket and experience highly regarded
• Experience preferred; training provided to successful candidates
• Strong work ethic, excellent time keeping and pride in work
• High regard for safety policies and procedures

Required skills

• Very good IT skills
• Experience using Outlook and other software
