Compliance Manager – Hybrid Role in Sydney or Melbourne

About the role

Marsh is seeking a talented compliance professional to join its Line 2 Risk and Compliance team. This hybrid role (minimum three days per week in the office) is based in Sydney or Melbourne and offers high visibility working with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory support across insurance broking, investments and other regulatory matters.
• Support the development and improvement of compliance frameworks, policies and processes.
• Maintain the obligations library and manage Line 2 obligations activities.
• Establish monitoring activities to assess compliance with organisational policies and regulatory obligations.
• Manage financial services licences and authorisations for Marsh Pacific entities.
• Support compliance activities such as conflicts management, compliance plan reviews, training development and implementation.

Required profile

• Experience in a compliance, legal or regulatory role within the Australian financial services industry.
• Background in insurance broking or insurance, with some exposure to investments preferred.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements practically.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Pro‑active, energised and collaborative attitude.
