Compliance Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Toyota Finance Australia is looking for a senior Compliance Manager to lead its compliance framework across the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will shape risk and regulatory strategies while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the compliance framework aligned with regulatory obligations and industry best practice.
• Provide expert regulatory advice to senior leaders and monitor compliance risks, incidents and breaches.
• Oversee remediation of compliance issues and drive sustainable outcomes.
• Mentor and manage a high‑performing compliance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business leaders on regulatory change initiatives to embed new requirements into processes.
• Prepare and present compliance reports, training and recommendations to executive leadership and board committees.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading compliance, risk and regulatory programmes in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of NCCP, Privacy Act, Consumer Data Right, AML/CTF and consumer protection legislation.
• Proven leadership in managing high‑performing teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law, Compliance, Risk, Business or related fields; professional certifications preferred.
• Commercial acumen with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
