Community Relations Advisor

About the role

The Community Relations Advisor will join a dedicated team at Murrin Murrin Operations, supporting the development and maintenance of strong relationships with local communities, government bodies and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate partnerships and initiatives that build local community capacity.
• Liaise with community groups, government departments and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate heritage approvals and promote cultural awareness across the workforce.
• Conduct environmental inspections, audits, water monitoring and other environment‑related tasks.
• Provide a liaison point for pastoral staff and support pastoral operations.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification, preferably in communications, public relations or a related field.
• WA ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to engage people at all levels.
• Good computer literacy with experience using integrated management systems, word processing, presentation and spreadsheet applications.
