Community Registered Nurse (NDIS) – Full-time

About the role

Kangaroo Care is seeking a full‑time Community Registered Nurse to join its Mount Gravatt team. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care to NDIS participants in their homes and SDA housing, supporting independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments, develop and review care plans.
• Provide wound care, medication administration, and chronic disease monitoring.
• Perform home visits and on‑site support in SDA accommodation.
• Educate clients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Document clinical interventions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in case conferences and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Eligibility to work in Australia (visa sponsorship available for the right candidate).
• Experience in community health, disability support, or NDIS settings.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage time, and respond calmly to changing clinical needs.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally.
