Community Partnerships Manager

About the role

The Community Partnerships Manager will develop, manage and deepen Community First Bank's relationships across the regions it serves. This role designs and implements community engagement programmes that deliver measurable social impact aligned with the bank's Community Impact Strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the bank's community partnership strategy, identifying and securing strategic partnerships with schools, sporting clubs, chambers of commerce, local councils, not‑for‑profit organisations and other community groups.
• Design and coordinate community impact programmes covering financial empowerment, home‑ownership pathways, business prosperity, youth futures and community wellbeing.
• Represent the bank at community forums, events and networking opportunities, building trusted relationships with community leaders and influencers.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Branch, Lending, Marketing and Member Experience to maximise community outcomes.
• Develop and maintain a community impact dashboard, measuring outcomes like people educated, volunteer hours, small businesses supported and first‑home buyer participation.
• Coordinate employee volunteer initiatives and support the growth of the Community First Foundation, including governance and grant assessment frameworks.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in community engagement, partnerships, business development or stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strategic relationships and develop programmes with measurable outcomes.
• Strong communication, presentation and project management capabilities.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Desirable experience in banking, mutuals, financial services or member‑owned organisations and qualifications in Business, Community Development, Marketing or related fields.
