About the role
The Communications & Stakeholder Manager will serve as the principal point of contact for local community groups on Samsung C&T's energy projects in Melbourne. This role focuses on building strong relationships and ensuring transparent, effective communication with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and launch programs that encourage community participation and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
- Develop and write high‑quality communication materials and plan innovative stakeholder engagement approaches.
- Manage customer service, respond to community enquiries, and support the planning and delivery of community events and information sessions.
- Document, track, and report all engagement and communication activities.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification or equivalent discipline.
- Experience with heavy infrastructure projects, preferably in the energy sector.
- Background in communications, public relations, journalism, stakeholder engagement, marketing, or community development.
- Strong writing ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible messages.
- Proactive, solution‑focused approach with excellent organisational skills.
