Communications Specialist – APAC

About the role

Join GPC Asia Pacific as a Communications Specialist and lead the design and delivery of strategic internal and external communications across Australia and New Zealand. You will shape the communications capability, manage key channels and events, and drive stakeholder engagement in a fast‑paced, hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communication plans aligned with organisational priorities.
• Create compelling content for intranet, newsletters, email, social media, websites and presentations.
• Build, maintain and optimise SharePoint sites and other digital assets.
• Coordinate major employee engagement initiatives such as Town Halls, R U OK? Day and Safety Week.
• Partner with business leaders to translate complex information into clear, engaging stories.
• Monitor communication effectiveness using analytics and feedback, and continuously improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in communications within a large, autonomous environment.
• Ability to build trusted relationships across all organisational levels and challenge the status quo with innovative ideas.
• Strong organisational and project‑management skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.

Required skills

• SharePoint site management and governance.
• Content creation for digital channels (intranet, newsletters, social media).
• Analytics and performance tracking of communication initiatives.
• Experience with employee engagement programmes and event coordination.
