Communications & Marketing Coordinator

About the role

This is a hands‑on, generalist position that sits at the intersection of communications and marketing. You will support earned‑media campaigns, create marketing content and edit video, often moving between tasks within the same day. You will work directly with the Director of Communications in Sydney and collaborate with a small, cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Draft press releases, pitch emails and other media materials; maintain journalist contact lists and track outreach.
• Monitor news feeds for news‑jacking opportunities and respond to journalist requests.
• Write marketing copy for blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, one‑pagers and sales collateral across three brands.
• Produce and adapt content for product‑marketing campaigns, from concept through launch assets.
• Edit interview footage, screen recordings and raw clips into short‑form videos for social and marketing use.
• Collaborate with the Motion Designer to create integrated video, graphic and animation assets.

Required profile

• Background in journalism, communications or marketing content production.
• Comfortable using video‑editing tools.
• Junior‑level candidate who can take ownership of tasks, flag issues early and deliver work ready for review.
