Communications Coordinator

About the role

Working under the Senior Communications Manager, Group Communications, the Communications Coordinator supports the design and delivery of integrated communication programmes across ANZ’s Talent & Culture, Finance, Risk, Legal, Internal Audit and First Nations initiatives. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution to enhance the bank’s reputation and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communication programmes for Group Communications, covering internal, external and digital channels.
• Support best‑practice integrated communication plans that align with ANZ’s strategic agenda and business‑as‑usual activities.
• Produce the weekly “Weekly Wrap” to ensure consistent enterprise‑wide messaging.
• Create and manage content for the 833 Collins St digital wall and other digital platforms.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and corporate communications teams to craft content that meets audience needs.
• Execute project‑related communication strategies and maintain quality across all deliverables.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong experience in communication planning and content creation for multiple channels.
• Proficiency in video production, including narrative development, story‑boarding, filming and editing.
• Experience creating web‑content, social‑media posts, campaigns and webpages.
• Familiarity with webcast production and employee communication platforms such as Staffbase.
• Comfort using collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams.
