Communications Agent

About the role

As a full‑time Communications Agent at Four Seasons Sydney, you will be the first voice guests hear and a vital link throughout their stay. You will deliver warm, professional service while handling calls efficiently and supporting the Front Office team.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls with a professional and welcoming manner.
• Respond to guest enquiries and requests, ensuring prompt follow‑up and resolution.
• Serve as a central communication link between guests and hotel departments.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, dining venues and local attractions.
• Coordinate guest requests such as wake‑up calls, amenities, transportation and special services.
• Monitor and manage emergency communication procedures according to hotel policy.
• Support the Front Office in delivering personalised and memorable guest experiences.

• Exceptional verbal communication and confident telephone manner.
• Strong listening skills and ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Commitment to delivering personalised experiences and meaningful connections.
• Calm, organised and solution‑focused in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent multitasking, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Previous experience in hotel operator, guest services, front office or similar hospitality role preferred.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn hotel operating systems quickly.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
