Communications Advisor

About the role

The Communications Advisor will manage, measure and improve key internal and external communication channels for ANZ’s non‑financial risk (NFR) strategic initiatives. You will create clear, engaging content that aligns employees with enterprise‑wide goals and supports the bank’s strategic agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Document and maintain all communication channels used for the NFR program.
• Develop and publish written and visual content across internal platforms such as Max, Viva Engage, Weekly Wrap, and external channels like LinkedIn.
• Support the creation of communication plans, talking points, and leader guides for the NFR program.
• Collaborate with Program Communications team members and divisional stakeholders to ensure alignment with bank priorities.
• Measure, report and analyse communication performance using feedback, analytics and survey data.
• Assist in building a communications reporting framework that captures metrics and qualitative insights.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, ANZ Group policies and best‑practice standards.
• Build networks and maintain relationships across Communications & Public Affairs and the broader organisation.

Required profile

• Strong written and visual communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical mindset to use data for continuous improvement.
• Understanding of corporate communications and stakeholder engagement.
