About the role

Opteon is seeking a Commercial Property Valuer to join its Hobart team. You will produce high‑quality valuation reports for a wide range of commercial assets, meeting the expectations of clients and lenders. The role combines strong analytical work with proactive client communication and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely valuation reports across diverse commercial asset classes.
• Ensure compliance with client and lender requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain and grow relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities to meet personal annual budgets.
• Collaborate with senior valuation teams to support complex assignments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential and commercial property valuation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client‑facing and business development capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
