Commercial Manager – South Australia

About the role

Qube is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial strategy and contract management for its South Australia operations. This permanent, full‑time position will drive commercial performance, support business development, and ensure strong customer relationships across the bulk logistics portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle – drafting, negotiation, execution, and compliance.
• Prepare agreements, communications, and variation claims.
• Update pricing for monthly fuel adjustments and annual changes.
• Identify cost‑efficiency opportunities and additional contracted services.
• Support tender development in collaboration with commercial and business‑development teams.
• Make data‑driven decisions using financial analysis and market insights.
• Evaluate risks, uncover root causes of issues, and provide actionable feedback.
• Champion safety, Zero Harm principles, and SHEMS compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in logistics or related commercial roles.
• Proven ability to manage complex contracts and commercial negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
