Commercial Finance Manager – FP&A and Business Partnering

About the role

We are seeking a Sydney‑based Commercial Finance Manager to partner with senior leaders, translate financial data into actionable insights and help drive stronger commercial decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with senior leaders, providing commercial insight, constructive challenge and practical support for decision‑making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, focusing on why performance is changing and what actions the business should take.
• Turn complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations that improve business performance.
• Build financial models, business cases and scenarios to support investment, growth and other commercial decisions.
• Analyse customer, product and service profitability and identify opportunities to improve margins.
• Support pricing, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives.
• Improve Finance processes through better data, dashboards, automation and AI‑enabled tools.

Required profile

• A degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field, with CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong experience in commercial finance, FP&A and finance business partnering within a large or complex organisation.
• Proven ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
• Proactive business‑partnering mindset with a track record of delivering better business outcomes.
