About the role
An excellent opportunity has arisen in KPMG’s Office of General Counsel for a generalist in‑house lawyer. The role involves working on a wide variety of corporate and commercial arrangements, regulatory issues and litigation.
Key responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating general contracts and commercial agreements.
- Reviewing new products and service offerings.
- Providing legal advice on tender documents and client service offerings.
- Liaising closely with the business and external counsel.
- Advising on the management of potential disputes.
Required profile
- Admitted lawyer with a current practising certificate.
- Experience negotiating general commercial contracts.
- Experience in litigation, disputes or reputation matters.
- Exposure to corporate law matters.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal clients at all levels.
Required skills
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Proactive and commercial approach to problem solving.
