Cloud Operations Administrator

About the role

Leidos Australia is seeking a Cloud Operations Administrator to maintain and optimise secure Azure, AWS and hybrid cloud environments that support critical customer missions. You will work closely with engineering, cyber security and customer stakeholders to ensure reliability, security and resilience of cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support secure Azure, AWS and hybrid cloud platforms, ensuring availability, performance and operational stability.
• Manage incidents, problems and changes in complex production environments, applying proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational efficiency through automation using scripting, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.
• Partner with technical teams and customers to deliver secure, compliant and resilient cloud services, supporting patching, remediation and governance.

Required profile

• Experienced cloud operations professional with a practical approach to administration and automation.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams, cyber security specialists and customer stakeholders in secure, mission‑critical environments.

Required skills

• Administration of Azure, AWS or comparable cloud platforms.
• Experience with cloud networking, compute, storage and identity services.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud operating models.
