Clinical Nurse

About the role

The Clinical Nurse will deliver triage and emergency services at Exmouth District Hospital, supporting patients presenting with urgent health needs. This role can be filled on a permanent or fixed‑term basis, full‑time or part‑time.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for emergency and triage patients.
• Provide leadership and assistance to nursing staff, promoting the hospital’s vision, values and objectives.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Health Service Manager to improve performance and monitor activities.
• Lead and implement specific projects or portfolios as directed by senior nursing leadership.

Required profile

• Eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Demonstrated advanced clinical skills across various settings, including emergency care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with quality and risk management processes.
• Current C or C‑A class driver’s licence (or equivalent).
