Clinical Nurse – Early Psychosis

About the role

Join Metro South Health as a Clinical Nurse specialising in early psychosis. You will provide advanced clinical care, lead nursing practice and support recovery‑focused outcomes within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assessment, care planning and coordination of complex mental health and physical health needs.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to the multidisciplinary team.
• Drive quality improvement, risk management and evidence‑based clinical practice.
• Support staff development through education, mentoring and clinical supervision.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
• Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in mental health nursing, ideally within an early psychosis framework.
• Strong assessment, care planning, risk management and clinical decision‑making capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and mentoring skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.
