Clinical Nurse – Youth Mental Health (Headspace In-Reach)

About the role

Join the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) as a Clinical Nurse within the Headspace In‑Reach Program, delivering integrated mental health care to young people aged 12–25 across Logan‑Beaudesert and Bayside communities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical assessment, care planning, treatment and coordination for young people with complex mental health concerns.
• Deliver individual and co‑therapy sessions, consultation liaison, therapeutic groups and clinical support across Headspace centres (Meadowbrook, Beaudesert, Inala, Capalaba).
• Offer clinical leadership, mentoring and education to the healthcare team to support evidence‑based, person‑centred care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in adolescent mental health and ability to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, collaboration and relationship‑building skills across partner services.
• Commitment to clinical leadership, mentoring and professional development of staff and students.

Required skills

• Advanced clinical assessment and critical thinking in mental health presentations.
• Problem‑solving and case management for complex mental health concerns.
