About the role
The Pharmacy Education and Development team seeks a Clinical Lead Pharmacist to drive the design, delivery and evaluation of pharmacy education programmes across the state. This senior position provides clinical leadership, mentorship and partnership with universities to build a high‑quality learning environment for interns, early‑career pharmacists and technicians.
Key responsibilities
- Lead planning, design, implementation and evaluation of pharmacy education and training programmes.
- Build capacity within the pharmacy service to deliver high‑quality training and support pre‑entry student placements.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentorship to interns, technicians, early‑career pharmacists and pharmacists transitioning to hospital practice.
- Collaborate with statewide pharmacy educators, discipline leads, managers and universities to create interdisciplinary education and research opportunities.
Required profile
- Extensive experience delivering contemporary pharmacy services in a hospital setting, including dispensing, patient counselling, clinical pharmacy, manufacturing and drug information.
- Proven clinical leadership with pre‑entry students, early‑career staff and new‑to‑hospital pharmacists, and ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate learning activities.
- Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia and knowledge of professional competency standards, accreditation, evidence‑based practice and clinical governance.

What we offer
- Salary $131,122 – $138,984 per annum plus 12% superannuation.
- Professional Development Allowance up to $1,200 per year and a market allowance of $10,000 per year.
