Clinical Educator - Seniors Communities

About the role

Anglicare Sydney is looking for an experienced Clinical Educator to build the skills, confidence and capability of its nursing and care teams across Seniors Communities. The role develops clinical capability across the workforce so teams can deliver high-quality care to older Australians. It is a part-time position of 15.2 hours per week on a 12-month contract, with potential for extension, based in Macquarie Park with a hybrid arrangement and regular travel to other locations in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, evidence-based clinical education, competency training and coaching that strengthens clinical practice and supports safe, high-quality care.
• Work closely with clinical leaders and Workplace Trainers to support induction, identify learning needs and embed new clinical practices.
• Ensure education aligns with aged care standards, compliance and accreditation requirements.
• Partner with clinical leaders to strengthen workforce capability and drive continuous improvement.
• Promote a culture of safety, learning and clinical excellence.

Required profile

• Experienced Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least 5 years' recent clinical experience in aged care or health.
• Proven experience delivering clinical education and competency-based training.
• Strong knowledge of aged care standards, accreditation and clinical best practice.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• A proactive, collaborative approach focused on practical solutions and continuous improvement.
