Client Service Manager – Sales and Service

About the role

State Street is seeking an experienced Client Service Manager to join its Client Service Team in Sydney. The role focuses on delivering high‑value services and solutions to clients, ensuring quality and consistency across the full range of State Street offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver highly valued services and solutions to clients, ensuring consistent quality and offering the full range of State Street services as needs evolve.
• Manage client relationship activities, respond to escalated issues, communicate resolutions, monitor inquiry metrics and escalate unresolved matters to senior management.
• Keep senior management informed of service issues, new developments and business opportunities.
• Facilitate cross‑functional communication to resolve client queries and deliver high‑quality service.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise for new business onboarding and drive project work to improve client service.
• Lead continuous evaluation of team operations, encouraging innovative ideas to enhance efficiency, reduce risk or increase revenue.

Required profile

• Strong leadership, communication and change‑management abilities.
• Professional maturity with proven stakeholder management experience.
• Experience in custody, fund accounting or fund administration environments with exposure to both BAU tasks and client services.
• Previous financial services experience and market knowledge.
