Cleaning Team Member - Windsor

About the role

SCS Group, a commercial cleaning and integrated facility services provider operating across Australia, is looking for a reliable, motivated and detail-oriented full-time Cleaning Team Member for its Windsor site. The role suits someone with previous cleaning experience in a medical or clinical environment who understands the importance of high cleaning standards, established procedures and a clean, safe and hygienic environment. The position reports to the site supervisor or manager.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality cleaning in line with medical or clinical cleaning standards and site-specific procedures.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation throughout the facility.
• Follow cleaning methodologies, infection prevention and control procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Use cleaning equipment and products correctly and safely.
• Report cleaning, hygiene or safety issues to the site supervisor or manager promptly.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies and keep work areas clean, safe and orderly.
• Work independently and with the team to meet cleaning requirements.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning experience in a medical or clinical environment is essential.
• Sound understanding of medical or clinical cleaning standards and methodologies.
• Valid flu vaccination, as required for the role.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to pick up new procedures quickly.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality and work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures and health and safety requirements, and to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
