Cleaning Assistant

About the role

Bupa Clemton Park is a modern care home with 144 beds across a variety of care units, located 20 km from Sydney's CBD and close to public transport. Its aim is to focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of its residents. The Cleaning Assistant provides an empathetic and personal approach to keeping the home clean and hygienic.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
• Complete required documentation and reporting
• Provide ad hoc support to the wider team, including laundry and catering

Required profile

• Cert III Hospitality highly regarded
• Aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
• Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
